Job Description

Responsible for market expansion and product development in order to achieve both sales and income targets. Ensure effective customer/ distributor relationship management with high net worth clients to ascertain rendering of quality service.

Areas of responsibility
Ø  Assess market, prepare sales forecast and provide inputs for finalizing the sales targets and budgets.
Ø  Achieve targeted growth in terms of sales & profits by monitoring the same on regular basis.
Ø  Secure orders and ensure the supply chain is in place so that the products are delivered on time. 
Ø  Identify and manage key accounts to accelerate sales growth.
Ø  Work closely with appointed distributors in the assigned territory towards sales growth of the branded portfolio.
Ø  Plan regular customer visits to generate higher business and provide market intelligence reports covering consumer trends, competition, new product positioning, customer information etc.
Ø  Inculcate healthy relationship with principals and collaboratively formulate win-win strategies.
Ø  Responsible for expanding the business by bringing in new customers & introducing new products.
Ø  Increase market penetration and coverage by targeting small and medium food companies in the assigned territory.
Ø  Promptly handle customer complaints and ensure proactive measures are taken to avoid repetition.
Ø  Follow-up on outstandings/ payments with customers.
Ø  Possess strong product knowledge and impart training as and when necessary.
Ø  Generate sales reports and other relevant reports for further actions and future reference. Effectively use CRM system.
Ø  Support the team with technical inputs as required. Revert to the customers on technical queries by conducting lab/industrial trials with the customer.
Ø  Ensure effective implementation of quality initiatives.
